John is starting his second year as a lecturer at Bishop Gwynne College in Juba, South Sudan. He was the first of the South Sudanese students to study at George Whitefield College in Cape Town, South Africa on a CORE scholarship. Here he shares his heart about the quest for peace in his home country of South Sudan. True peace, he says, can only come from the church of Jesus Christ. The answer will not come from the government or politics but only from the Church.
This is an interview with John from when he was still in his first year of studying. He is now a lecturer and is able to influence future pastors and teachers. We look forward to seeing how God will use him in helping to create a peaceful nation.
